SECTION 1 – WHAT, HOW AND WHEN WE MAY USE YOUR INFORMATION
When you browse our website, make comment / review or purchase something from our store, as part of the browsing, buying and selling process, we may collect any information you give us such as your name, address and email address. The Marine Freak website like many others uses “cookies”, these cookies are used to enable our systems to recognise your browser allowing you to navigate our site more efficiently.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. We feel that the sale of personal details is a totally in excusable act and a massive breach of the trust instilled in us buy you the consumer. For this reason we will not sell any of your information.
The only situation in which your information may be sold would be if the Marine Freak business was to be sold or ownership transferred. In this scenario where all assets are sold or transferred to another party, mailing lists, invoices and customer details would be classed as a business asset and thus would also be handed over as part of the change of ownership.
