WHERE DOES MARINE FREAK DELIVER TO?
Marine Freak delivers Australia wide to residential and business addresses. If delivering to a business address please ensure you include the business name. This makes finding you easier if you are located in a multi business complex or building. If you live in a remote area of Australia and normal delivery services are limited, your parcel may be left at a local delivery centre.
CAN MARINE FREAK DELIVER TO PO BOXES?
Yes, Marine Freak can deliver to your PO box, however as there are limited services that can deliver to a PO box a surcharge may apply.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DISPATCHED?
Marine Freak provides industry leading postage times. We aim to dispatch most of our orders within 1 or 2 business days of receiving them. Should you require your item ASAP then please select the express postage option and call us to ensure priority dispatch. Express delivery is available to most areas Australia wide.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO ARRIVE?
Delivery time is influenced greatly by your location and the shipping method selected. For the fastest possible delivery Marine Freak offers you Express post to most locations for $19.95. Express post items also receive priority dispatch. As a guide for Express post please allow 1-3 days for your order to arrive, and for regular post please allow 2-7 business days.
HOW DO I KNOW MY ORDERS PROGRESS?
At Marine Freak we endeavour to keep our customers 100% up to date with their order progress.
When your order is placed you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order.
Once your order is carefully wrapped and dispatched we will email you letting you know that your order is complete & on its way and provide you with relevant tracking information if available. If at any time your delivery requirements change or should you need more information regarding your order, please don’t hesitate to call or email our friendly staff.

Express shipping is available to Most all orders for $19.95

WHAT IS PREMIUM DELIVERY AND WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Marine Freak proudly offer a premium same day, after hours and weekend delivery service to residents of the Illawarra and South Coast region of NSW. If you would like to take advantage of this service please call or email us to arrange a delivery time to suit. Please note: As this is a premium same day delivery service surcharges may apply.
WHAT DELIVERY SERVICES DO YOU USE?
To ensure you the highest level of customer service Marine Freak only use a small selection of courier companies. Many of our products are shipped using a combination of air and road services and . Express posted items are sent using either a premium carrier or Australian Post Express.
Note: Some times it maybe required that your order is divided into multiple packages. This is often because of size and weight limitations or a dangerous goods not being able to be transported in aircraft. All parcels are dispatched at the same time so if one parcel arrives it means the other is not too far away
BULKY & DANGEROUS GOODS
Marine Freak regularly sell bulky and dangerous goods and there shipping is no issue for us. For safety reasons bulky or dangerous goods are usually shipped using road freight and for this reason some deliveries may take a little longer. Delivery times for bulky or dangerous goods in most areas of NSW is the same as regular post. For interstate bulky or dangerous goods please allow an additional day or 2 for delivery.
Delivery costs for these products will be calculated at the checkout and are most times accurate. Should there be an issue with you freight charge we will contact you ASAP to discuss your options.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT HOME TO TAKE DELIVERY?
Marine Freak understand that it is not always possible to have someone at home on the day of delivery. In an effort to make things a little easier Marine Freak will allow you to have your order delivered to you at work or if required to your family or a friends house to avoid missing a delivery. If someone is not available when delivery is attempted, the driver will leave a calling card with a phone number on it. Most locations will have an option for depot collection which will enable you to collect the parcel at a time more suited to you.
NOTE: PLEASE ENSURE YOU CALL THE COURIER COMPANY TO CONFIRM WHERE YOUR PARCEL IS BEFORE YOU GO TO COLLECT IT. IN RARE OCCASIONS THE PARCEL MAY STILL BE IN TRANSIT AND MAY NOT OF RETURNED TO THE DEPOT.
All of the couriers Marine Freak use can arrange for a re delivery at another time and this can be done by calling the number on the calling card and arranging it with the delivery service. Unfortunately in some locations this may incur an addition charge.
Should a re delivery fee be charged this will be at the customers expense.
CAN I REQUEST A "SAFE DROP" ?
Safe dropping (leaving order if not available) is not our preferred method as if parcels get damaged or go missing it makes it very hard to find out exactly what happened and the chances of parcel recovery are slim. Unfortunately items left at the front door or on the porch often go missing.
If against our advice you would still like your item left if you are unavailable. Please leave this in the “order notes” section during checkout.
NOTE: Unfortunately, insurance cannot be provided for items that are safe dropped.
IS MY ORDER COVERED BY INSURANCE AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
YES, Rest assured, Marine Freak offers FREE insurance for all orders it sends within Australia for damage or loss during transit excluding orders that customers elect to have safe dropped.
NOTE: Unfortunately, insurance cannot be provided for items that are safe dropped
